Who Will Perform the National Anthem at Dolphins-Jets Monday Night Clash?

Cuban-American artist Monique Abbadie will perform the national anthem ahead of Monday Night Football’s Dolphins vs. Jets matchup. A multitalented singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress, Abbadie first rose to prominence on Season 4 of NBC’s The Voice, where her Blind audition earned her a four-chair turn and catapulted her into the spotlight.

Since then, she has carved out an impressive career. Her recording of the hit single “Loca” climbed the iTunes charts on Billboard’s Latin Digital Songs chart. Earlier this year, she showcased her storytelling and vocal range by releasing her latest single, “Not Enough.”

Abbadie’s career began as part of the international family show Sábado Gigante at six years old. Over the years, she has been featured in Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, and Latina Magazine, which named her one of the Top 50 Latina Stars on reality TV competitions. Venue Magazine also spotlighted her as one of their Rising Talents.

This won’t be Abbadie’s first time on the Dolphins’ stage. She has previously performed at the halftime show in Hard Rock Stadium in the 2014 season. But with millions watching on primetime television, her national anthem performance promises to be a special moment.

When Abbadie last took the stage at Hard Rock Stadium, the Dolphins toppled Tom Brady’s Patriots. Fans will be hoping her return sparks a little of that magic, and maybe some luck, against the Jets.

As for the halftime entertainment, fans are in for a treat as Cuban reggaeton duo Gente de Zona takes the stage at Hard Rock Stadium. The internationally renowned group, composed of musicians Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom Martínez, has helped bring Latin music to the global stage with their infectious energy and crossover success.

Their collaboration with Enrique Iglesias on “Bailando” became the first Spanish-language song to surpass one billion views on YouTube. At the same time, their hit “La Gozadera” has been celebrated as nothing less than “Latin America’s official hymn.” With countless awards and chart-topping singles, Gente de Zona continues to be one of the most electrifying acts in Latin music.

With Abbadie setting the tone pregame and Gente de Zona bringing the party at halftime, the Dolphins-Jets showdown won’t just be about football; it promises to be a night of entertainment, culture, and Miami flair under the Monday Night Football lights.
