The face-off between the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders is going to be special in many ways. Not only are fans excited for the football action, but also for the musical performances.
While Daddy Yankee and BIZARRAP will headline the halftime show and entertain the fans with Latin performances, let’s take a look at who will be performing the national anthems before the game.
Performer of the U.S. National Anthem at the Madrid Game
The Dolphins-Commanders game will be the first NFL game hosted in Spain, and the honor of singing the U.S. national anthem will go to Madrid-based singer Karina Pasian. She was born in New York and is of mixed Armenian and Dominican descent.
The 34-year-old American singer began her music career early and was nominated for a Grammy Award for her song “Can’t Find the Words” in the category of Best Contemporary R&B. In 2007, she also had the prestigious opportunity to perform at the White House during Black Music Month in front of President George W. Bush, making her the first person of Dominican descent to perform there.
On the other hand, the Madrid Marine Infantry Group Band will perform the Spanish national anthem. This talented band has performed anthems and musical pieces across the country at numerous official ceremonies and public events.
Dolphins-Commanders Game Preview
The Miami Dolphins (3-7) are all set to face the Washington Commanders (3-7) at 3:30 p.m. local time / 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 16, in Madrid at the Bernabéu Stadium. U.S. audiences can tune in on NFL Network, while international viewers can watch the game live on DAZN.
Both teams are having a rough season this year. With identical 3-7 records, both sides have almost no chance of qualifying for the playoffs, but they will still fight hard for a win.
The Commanders arrive in Madrid on a five-game losing streak, and they’ll be without their quarterback, Jayden Daniels, who’s been sidelined due to an elbow injury he suffered in the Week 9 game against the Seattle Seahawks. It’s still unclear if he’ll return to the field this season.
The Dolphins, on the other hand, are also bringing not-so-impressive stats. They haven’t performed well in overseas games, winning only one of the six they’ve played so far. It will be interesting to see if the Commanders will finally break their losing streak or if the Dolphins will improve their overseas record on Sunday.

The very BEST NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMANCE, EVER!!!
THANK YOU!
