The Seattle Seahawks are in the midst of a battle to the end for a playoff spot. They sit at 6-5 heading into Week 13 and hold the No. 6 seed. They wouldn’t be in this spot if it wasn’t for star wide receiver DK Metcalf.
Metcalf has caught 43 passes for 678 yards and three touchdowns in 2023. He’s had 349 receptions, 4,896 yards, and 38 touchdowns with the Seahawks since being drafted in 2019.
While Metcalf is one of the league’s best on the field, he’s also living his life outside of it. Who is his girlfriend, Normani?
Who Is DK Metcalf’s Girlfriend, Singer Normani?
Metcalf was born on Dec. 14, 1997, and raised in Oxford, Mississippi. He went on to attend Ole Miss, where he spent three seasons.
In those three seasons, Metcalf caught 67 passes for 1,228 yards and 14 touchdowns. In the 2019 NFL Draft, he was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round.
On the personal side, Metcalf’s girlfriend is Normani, who is best known for being a member of the former girl group Fifth Harmony. She now sings as a solo artist and has worked with the likes of Cardi B and Sam Smith.
Rumors of the two being together began to spread in 2022 when they were spotted eating together in Los Angeles. They confirmed these rumors, going official on Instagram in July 2023. Normani shared a photo of the two while attending the wedding of Metcalf’s teammate, Tyler Lockett.

Norman is 27 and was born on May 31, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia. She had previously been in a relationship in 2021 with Rameer Colon, a dancer.
The singer had revealed earlier this year that her father, Derrick Hamilton, was diagnosed with cancer not long after her mom endured the same disease a second time. She also has two older half-sisters, Ashlee and Arielle.

Normani was raised in New Orleans, but her family relocated to Houston, Texas, after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She competed in dance, gymnastics, and beauty pageants from a young age.
Her career started in 2012 when she auditioned for the second season of The X Factor USA. She was cut during the second round of boot camp but was invited back to the show to perform as part of a group with Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, and Camila Cabello. The group would go on to become Fifth Harmony.
In 2016, Cabello left the group, signaling the beginning of the end. The group would continue for two years before announcing their decision to take an indefinite hiatus in 2018. Each member of the group now pursues solo endeavors.
