Flanked by his medical team, Sanders grew emotional as he recounted the journey, revealing that the cancer was diagnosed incidentally during scans for his foot condition. He wasn’t alone in his journey, with a recent social media post showing actress and model Karrueche Tran by his side at the hospital.

According to the “Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” Sanders and Karrueche reportedly “crossed paths years ago while working on a project produced by his ex-fiancée, Tracey Edmonds. Karrueche also had a role in the second season of “Games People Play,” a series executive-produced by Edmonds.”
Tran won the 2021 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress in a Daytime Fiction Program for her performance in the web drama “The Bay,” becoming the first Asian Pacific American actress to earn the award in a lead category.
