Broadcast Details for “The Pat McAfee Show Draft Spectacular”

    • Date: Thursday, April 24, 2025
    • Start time: 8 p.m. ET
    • Livestream options: ESPN+, TikTok, ESPN App, YouTube

McAfee will host the extravaganza. As always, joining him will be his crew of Connor Campbell, Tone Digs, and Ty Schmit, plus two former NFL players who play integral roles in the show’s success: Darius Butler and A.J. Hawk.

Before becoming a media superstar, McAfee was a punter. During his 51-game career at West Virginia, McAfee made 73.4% of his field goals and maintained a 43.7-yard punting average. This carried him to earning first-team All-American status, subsequently leading to the Indianapolis Colts drafting him No. 222 overall in the 2009 NFL Draft.

During an eight-year career (all with the Colts), McAfee averaged 39.8 net yards per punt, dropping 193 kicks inside the 20-yard line. The former Colt garnered Pro Bowl nods twice and All-Pro kudos once.

In 2017, McAfee retired from the NFL, citing knee issues. While he did attempt a comeback in camp with the Chicago Bears the same year, he decided to enter sports media. He joined Barstool Sports and Sirius XM Radio while he developed his own company, Pat McAfee Incorporated.

From there, McAfee collaborated with DAZN and Westwood One Radio. In 2023, “The Pat McAfee Show” made the move to ESPN and its platform. These days, he is a household name and one of the biggest figures in sports media.
