The Green Bay Packers will host the Baltimore Ravens in their final home game of the regular season on Saturday. While the matchup may be missing some of its biggest stars, it still carries playoff implications and will be broadcast nationally as part of Peacock’s exclusive Week 17 coverage.
A Look at the Announcers for Ravens-Packers Game
Saturday night’s Packers-Ravens game will stream exclusively on Peacock with an NBC broadcast crew on the call. Noah Eagle will handle play-by-play duties. He is a regular voice on NBC’s Big Ten football and NBA coverage and recently called the Detroit Lions-Minnesota Vikings game that streamed on Netflix during the Christmas window.
Todd Blackleged will be the game analyst. A former quarterback, he spent many years at ESPN as a college football analyst before joining NBC, where he frequently works alongside Eagle.
Kathryn Tappen will report from the sidelines. A longtime NBC Sports reporter, she has covered the NFL, college football, the NFL and multiple Olympic Games and will provide injury updates and in-game reporting throughout the broadcast.
Meanwhile, the game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET. Peacock will carry the broadcast nationally, making it the streaming service’s first exclusive NFL game of the year, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Viewers in the Baltimore and Green Bay local markets will also be able to watch on their local NBC stations, but fans elsewhere will need a Peacock subscription to tune in.
Packers-Ravens Preview
The Baltimore Ravens arrive in Green Bay with their backs against the wall. At 7-8, they’ve won four straight games away from home, but there is no safety net left. One loss ends their season and locks in their first losing year since 2021. Even a win won’t fully settle things, as Baltimore will still be watching Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers-Cleveland Browns game to see if their dreams of making it to the playoffs materialize.
Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson is listed as doubtful with a back injury after missing practice all week, which puts Tyler Huntley in line to start. Green Bay isn’t immune to quarterback trouble either. Jordan Love is out with a shoulder injury and concussion, and backup Malik Willis remains questionable after limited work in practice.
Green Bay (9-5-1) will come into the night in a far different spot. Thanks to the Detroit Lions’ loss on Thursday, the Packers have already secured their spot in the playoffs. Baltimore does not have that comfort. A win for them is a necessity to keep hopes of making the playoffs alive.
