Whit Weeks’s NFL Draft Potential

Whit Weeks is the higher-ranked LSU LB prospect on my board, despite Harold Perkins Jr.’s greater prestige and recognition. Weeks is a bit undersized as well — listed at 6’2″ and just 225 pounds — but he compensates with high-level long speed, closing burst, processing ability, and reaction speed. And in spite of his size, he’s shown he knows how to engage blocks with force and stack at the second level.

Meanwhile, in coverage, he has the requisite depth discipline and fluidity to manage curl and hook zones effectively. At the NFL level, Weeks will need to add at least 10 pounds of lean mass, but if he can do that, he has the physical and mental qualities to be a superb three-down starter.

Where Is Weeks Being Selected Most Often in the PFSN Mock Draft Simulator?

Weeks currently holds the No. 62 overall rank among prospects, positioning him as a Day 2 prospect. His most recent Average Draft Position (ADP) of 64.4 as of October 13 reflects that he is typically being selected on Day 2 or early Day 3.

This small gap between rank and ADP suggests he’s consistently valued among evaluators, even amid fluctuations in player evaluations at this stage of the draft cycle.

Users controlling the Dallas Cowboys have been the team that selected Weeks the most frequently over the past week, accounting for 1.5% of their picks across all seven rounds.
