NFL Draft Start Time and Schedule
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisc., continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft. The draft can be seen on ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network.
The Tennessee Titans own the first overall selection and will be on the clock starting at 8 p.m. ET. For the first round, teams are given a maximum of 10 minutes to make their pick.
The second round opens up at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, and two rounds will be concluded on the second day of festivities. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant,” pick No. 257.
What Time Will the Jets Make Their First-Round Pick?
With the 7th overall pick, the Jets are estimated to make their first selection around 8:58 p.m. ET, based on their position remaining and each team taking 7-9 minutes per pick. Trades always occur, and some teams run to the podium faster than others, but if you tune in 10-15 minutes ahead of that estimation, you should be in a good spot to see this pick be made. Prior years indicate the 7th pick could be made between roughly 8:48 and 9:08 p.m. ET.
As a reminder, teams have 10 minutes to make their picks in Round 1. That decreases to seven minutes per pick in Round 2, five minutes per pick from Rounds 3-6, and four minutes per pick in Round 7.
PFSN’s Latest Draft Projection for the Jets
In his latest 7-round mock draft, PFSN NFL Draft analyst Jacob Infante projects the Jets will select Missouri offensive tackle Armand Membou with the No. 7 overall pick:
“The New York Jets showed last year with their selection of Olu Fashanu that they’re willing to draft offensive linemen early, even if they don’t start right away. With the right tackle spot now open, though, finding a long-term tackle should be a priority. Armand Membou has always stood out physically with his length, agility, and power. In 2024, his technique caught up to his athleticism, making him a well-rounded prospect. He and Fashanu would give the Jets an extremely athletic tackle tandem for the future.”
