The Las Vegas Raiders are on their third head coach-general manager pairing in as many seasons. Pete Carroll and John Spytek are clearly trying to win now after trading for Geno Smith, and they will need a big draft haul to snap the franchise’s three-year playoff drought.
As the Raiders seek to compete in the difficult AFC West, let’s take a look at all of Las Vegas’ picks entering the 2025 NFL Draft, when they’ll make their first-round selection, as well as PFSN’s final mock draft projection for the Silver and Black.

NFL Draft Start Time and Schedule
The 2025 NFL Draft will be held at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft.
The Tennessee Titans own the No. 1 overall selection and will be on the clock starting at 8 p.m. ET. For the first round, teams are given a maximum of 10 minutes to make their pick.
The second round will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, and Day 2 will feature two rounds of selections. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant” at pick No. 257.
The 2025 NFL Draft will be broadcast on the NFL Network, ABC, and ESPN. YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, FuboTV, and Sling TV are alternatives to catch the action. ESPN will also be livestreaming an alternate broadcast of the first round called “The Pat McAfee Draft Spectacular” across YouTube, TikTok, the ESPN app, and ESPN+.
What Time Will the Raiders Make their 1st Round Pick?
If the Raiders stay at No. 6 overall, they would be estimated to make their first pick between roughly 8:40 p.m. ET and 9:00 p.m. ET. This is based on past trends and the time between picks. That’s assuming each team takes roughly their full allotment of time on the clock, though.
As a reminder, teams have 10 minutes to make their picks in Round 1. That decreases to seven minutes per pick in Round 2, five minutes per pick from Rounds 3-6, and four minutes per pick in Round 7.
It’s worth noting that last year’s No. 6 overall pick was announced at 8:50 p.m. ET.
PFSN’s Latest Draft Projection for the Raiders
In PFSN’s final seven-round mock draft, the Raiders are projected to select Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty with the sixth pick. Here’s what PFSN’s Jacob Infante had to say about the potential pairing:
“After trading for Pro Bowl quarterback Geno Smith, it’s unlikely the Las Vegas Raiders push hard for a quarterback in Round 1. Instead, it makes sense to surround Smith with more offensive weapons.
“Ashton Jeanty put up eye-popping numbers for Boise State in 2024. He’s a smart runner with great agility, vision, and contact balance. His skills in the passing game also make him a high-impact starter. He’d be a great fit for a coach like Pete Carroll, who leans on the run game.”
