What Is Fanatics Sportsbook?
Fanatics Sportsbook is the company’s sportsbook and sports betting mobile app. It was previously in beta testing but officially went live today in four states: Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Tennessee.
Fanatics is entering a very crowded field of online sports betting, and they’re more than five years behind their competition since the Supreme Court struck down on the federal ban on sports betting in May 2018.
Nevertheless, Fanatics is expected to be a major player in the space, competing with popular sportsbooks such as DraftKings and FanDuel for market share. Fanatics has also made a massive acquisition of PointsBet sportsbook’s U.S. business earlier this summer.
Their key differentiator in the ultra-competitive sports betting industry is going to be their FanCash program. When you bet with Fanatics, you can earn up to 5% FanCash on every bet, which you can spend on team swag or more bets.

Fanatics Sportsbook also has a retail location at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, the home stadium of the Washington Commanders. This location opened in January 2023 and is 5,000 square feet with 21 self-service betting kiosks, eight betting windows, and a full-service restaurant.
