The Dallas Cowboys host a Thanksgiving game every year, a longstanding NFL tradition. With all eyes on Jerry World, the halftime show gets a lot of eyes. In 2025, they tabbed Post Malone to take the stage for the halftime entertainment.

How Much Will Post Malone and Lil Jon Get Paid For the Thanksgiving Halftime Show?
Unfortunately, the performers are not paid. However, given the number of eyes on NFL games, especially during the holidays, many of these performers take the opportunity just for the exposure and the large audience watching them perform.
Even the Super Bowl halftime show performer doesn’t get paid, but with it being the most-watched sporting event in the United States, they receive a significant amount of exposure. While only a short set, Post Malone performed his hits for the crowd in Dallas while they waited for the second half of the Week 13 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Lil Jon takes the stage at halftime later tonight during the AFC North matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. While Post Malone may be a bigger draw given his current notoriety in country and hip hop, Lil Jon is sure to put on a solid performance with classics like “Yeah”, “Turn Down for What”, and “Get Low.”
Although they don’t earn any money, it shouldn’t matter, as both performers have a solid net worth. Post Malone’s net worth is $50 million. He broke out in 2015 with his hit single “White Iverson” and has continued to be a certified hitmaker with songs like “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen, “Circles”, and “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage. He’s also mentioned the Cowboys and Dak Prescott in his song “Wow.”

After finishing his stadium tour promoting his album F-1 Trillion, Post Malone will embark on international shows in the United Arab Emirates and India, following the Thanksgiving Halftime performance in Dallas.
As for Lil Jon, despite having a longer career, his net worth is $30 million. His fame came from his work as a rapper and producer. He was one of the founding fathers behind the rap sub-genre of “Crunk” and has partnerships with companies like Oakley.
As for the game, in a do-or-die setting for both the Cowboys and Chiefs, Dallas holds a slim 17-14 lead going into the locker room at halftime. Which squad will come out on top, strengthening their playoff chances?
