WATCH: Lions Star, Commanders TE Do Donald Trump’s Dance to Celebrate TDs With the President in Attendance

After opposing touchdowns, players from the Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders paid tribute to President Donald Trump with his dance.

The Week 10 game between the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions turned historic for a rather unique reason. It marked the first time in nearly 60 years that a sitting President of the United States had attended a regular-season game in person.

Arriving as a guest of the Commander’s owner, Josh Harris, his presence was felt by all the players on the field and the fans in the stands. As he remained in attendance, some players even saw it as an opportunity to copy him in the end zone.

Touchdowns Turn Into Donald Trump Dance-Offs

Early in the game, when the score was still in balance, it was superstar wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown who joined the party. Extending the Lions’ lead to 14-3, he pointed to the suite box Trump was situated in immediately after scoring.

Then he broke out into the patent dance that the 46th President had made famous during his campaign. However, he wasn’t the only one to bring out the moves after scoring in the end zone.

Later on, in the fourth quarter itself, as the Commanders tried to stay within striking distance, it was Ben Sinnott who caught a pass and drove into the end zone to add 6 on the board.

Immediately after, Sinnott, too, started dancing, as the rest of his teammates quickly surrounded him.
