The Minnesota Vikings enjoyed a remarkable season in 2024, winning 14 games for only the second time in franchise history, and the first time since 1998. That success came despite first-round quarterback J.J. McCarthy suffering a season-ending injury in his first preseason game.
One year later, McCarthy remains one of the youngest players on the Vikings’ roster, despite an influx of new rookies arriving via the 2025 NFL Draft.
Where do those rookies rank among the youngest players on the team? Here are the 10 youngest players on the 2025 Minnesota Vikings roster, as things stand.

10 Youngest Players on the 2025 Minnesota Vikings Roster
Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
Two-time national champion Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins showed off his explosiveness at the NFL Combine, with impressive numbers in the vertical and broad jumps. That explosiveness helped him tally eight tackles for loss in his final season at Georgia, showcasing his playmaking ability.
A fifth-round pick, the former five-star recruit could prove to be a steal for the Vikings, who already had the fourth-most sacks in the NFL last season (tied).
Gavin Bartholomew
Sixth-round pick Garvin Bartholomew showed consistent production across all four years of his college career in Pittsburgh. A big-play threat, Bartholomew should suit Kevin O’Connell’s system, which includes plenty of downfield plays. Bartholomew will be able to learn from one of the league’s best in T.J. Hockenson, as the two-time Pro Bowler looks to get back to his best in 2025.
Tai Felton
Tai Felton showed continued improvement throughout all four years of his Maryland career. In 2024, the receiver topped 1,000 receiving yards for the first time, adding nine receiving touchdowns. An explosive player, Felton will look to work his way into the Vikings’ impressive receiver rotation in 2025.
Dallas Turner
One of the Vikings’ two first-round picks in 2024, Turner enjoyed an encouraging first year in the NFL. While not pulling up trees, Turner’s three sacks, along with an interception, give the player a solid base to improve on in year two.
Kobe King
Former Penn State linebacker Kobe King managed exactly 200 combined tackles in college, but his nine tackles for loss in 2024 are what stand out. In a Minnesota defensive scheme in which any player could be the one to make a play, King adds yet another weapon for Brian Flores to utilize.
J.J. McCarthy
J.J. McCarthy’s preseason knee injury last year has meant the player has waited longer than expected to lead his new team in the NFL. Sam Darnold, though, did a tremendous job of guiding the Vikings into the playoffs in 2024. After Minnesota allowed Darnold to walk in free agency, the pressure will be on McCarthy to vindicate the team’s decision and repeat the success of his former teammate.
Donovan Jackson
Minnesota’s offensive line has undergone a transformation during the offseason. First-round pick Donovan Jackson joins former Indianapolis Colts pair Ryan Kelly and Will Fries on a Vikings team that aims to be more physical in 2025.
Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison has been one of Minnesota’s biggest playmakers from the minute he arrived in the NFL. His 1,786 receiving yards and 20 total touchdowns in his first two seasons in the league are a phenomenal return. Along with a healthy Hockenson and superstar Justin Jefferson, Addison will give the aforementioned McCarthy plenty to aim at in his first year as the starter.
Dwight McGlothern
An undrafted free agent out of Arkansas in 2024, McGlothern will be looking to improve on the depth role he played for the Vikings during his first season in the NFL.
Reddy Steward
Reddy Steward made one tackle for the Chicago Bears in 2024, which forced a fumble. Signed to a future/reserves contract with the Vikings in January, Steward will hope for more opportunities to make plays in 2025.
