Vikings Star Justin Jefferson Shades Former NBA Player Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Who Has Nicest Reaction Possible

Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson was asked if there is any NBA player that he could beat in a one-on-one. Jefferson had an answer and was confident he could beat Thanasis Antetokounmpo, brother of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. From what Jefferson had seen in clips, he believes that Thanasis is no match for him on the court.

Thanasis, on the other hand, has no idea who Jefferson is and was asked about what Jefferson said. He gave a great reaction and was extremely wholesome after Jefferson shaded him by saying he could take him on the court.

Justin Jefferson Calls Out Thanasis Antetokounmpo

Jefferson didn’t mean any disrespect when saying he could beat Antetokounmpo, but it’s certainly not a compliment to Antetokounmpo.

“No disrespect, but the Antetokounmpo brother. 100%. The highlights that I’ve seen, yes,” said Jefferson.

Jefferson is much smaller than Antetokounmpo at 6’1″ versus 6’7″. But Antetokounmpo has failed to make a significant impact in the NBA. He often found himself riding the Bucks’ bench while his brother continued to dominate the league.

Even though Antetokounmpo was often a benchwarmer, Jefferson would likely have a tough time against the big man because of the size difference and inexperience on the court relative to Antetokounmpo.

Regardless of who would win, Antetokounmpo took this statement extremely well and even offered a wholesome response. He didn’t know who Jefferson was but was receptive and even willing to go through with the one-on-one.

“We could try anytime. It’s like me saying, I don’t even know his sport; it’s like me saying I could beat him. But I would love to play football one time. He plays for the Vikings, you said? I’mma watch him. You said he’s good right?” said Antetokounmpo.

Jefferson got himself a new fan as Antetokounmpo plans to watch Jefferson once the season rolls around. Antetokounmpo is going to be in for a treat when watching Jefferson dominate his opposing cornerbacks on a weekly basis.

He’s used to watching greatness when watching his brother, and he will be able to see it with Jefferson from a new angle in a different sport. Ultimately, Antetokounmpo still thinks he would win the one-on-one.

“I don’t know this person, but if I’m bigger than him, it’s gonna be hard,” said Antetokounmpo when asked if Jefferson could beat him.

Fans of both sports would love to see a crossover like this happen at some point. The Vikings would prefer Jefferson not to risk injury in a harmless one-on-one against Antetokounmpo, but it would be entertaining and Antetokounmpo seems willing so; therefore, only time will tell if it will ever happen.
