Latest Tyreek Hill Injury Update

Hill, who emerged from the locker room with his hand wrapped after X-rays came back negative late in the half, missed one series before returning to the game.

“I got my ass popped,” said Hill, who finished with 146 yards and a touchdown on 10 catches. “I was able to make a play – but got my ass popped, and my hand, it was just in the middle of me catching a ball when dude helmet hit my hand. But it’s nothing serious, thought. It was just a little pain.”

He was the second star player to get banged up in an hour. Running back De’Von Achane left the game earlier with a knee injury and, as of time of publication, had not returned to the lineup.

Hill’s injury is the first time he’s had to miss snaps with anything but cramping this season. He missed a practice a few weeks back with a hip injury but was in the starting lineup that week and every week of the season.

Prior to the injury, Hill had caught seven passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. He got hurt on a 4th-and-1 catch inside the Raiders’ 10 that Las Vegas stopped short of the line to gain.

Fantasy Implications of Tyreek Hill’s Injury

Prior to his injury, Hill was having another monster first half with seven receptions for 80 yards and a score. The Dolphins’ offense also saw rookie running back De’Von Achane sustain an injury earlier in the first half, which has potentially taken a lot of speed off the field.

While Hill is unavailable, Jaylen Waddle and Cedrick Wilson should both see a bump in targets in the passing game and a slight move up the fantasy WR rankings, while QB Tua Tagavailoa would likely drop to a low-end QB1 option on a weekly basis.
