Tyreek Hill is one of the most high-profile free agents on the market. Hill dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, in the Miami Dolphins’ Week 4 game against the New York Jets last season.
The Dolphins released Hill in February after four highly productive seasons, leaving the wide receiver looking for a new team during rehab.
Tyreek Hill’s Agent Addresses Wide Receiver’s Return
During Friday’s segment of “The Pat McAfee Show,” Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, revealed the timeline for the wide receiver to sign a contract with an NFL team.
“I don’t expect Tyreek to sign before the season,” Rosenhaus said. “He sent me videos of him yesterday. This is good timing of him running hills, and he looked great. And I said to him, ‘You look great,’ and he said to me, ‘I still have some work to do. I’m not ready yet.’ I am not pressuring Tyreek, nor am I setting a timeline for him.
“I think what I’ve said to Tyreek is, ‘Take your time. It’s not when you come back; it’s how you come back. We want you to come back when you feel your best.’ There’s no sense of urgency, timing-wise. I think this is a future Hall of Famer who still has a lot of good football left in him.”

In a video posted on his YouTube channel in July, Hill revealed that after two surgeries, he still had no power in his left leg.

Rosenhaus further promised teams and fans that his client would impact the NFL playoff race for whichever team he ultimately joins.

“This was a devastating injury, but everyone is gonna be so impressed when they see how well Tyreek has rehabbed,” Rosenhaus said. “It’s not hyperbole for me to predict that he will play this season. When? I’m not sure. But I do think that when he does sign, he will be a coveted player. He’ll be the kind of guy that’ll impact the playoff race and will certainly be successful once he signs.”
Rosenhaus also added that despite the recent signings of veteran receivers like Deebo Samuel Sr., Keenan Allen, and Stefon Diggs, Hill’s priority is not to earn the same or more money than they do. Instead, the 32-year-old wideout’s priority is to pick the right team and help it win the Super Bowl.
In his 10-year NFL career, Hill has registered 11,363 receiving yards and 83 touchdowns on 819 catches. He earned the league’s best PFN Wide Receiver Impact score of 93.8 in 2023 after tallying 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 119 catches.

Hill has received five first-team All-Pro and one second-team All-Pro nods in his NFL career. In addition, the wide receiver has eight Pro Bowl selections, and he led the league in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in 2023.
