Turning Point USA Launches Rival Show After Bad Bunny Selection
The controversy is from the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl 60 halftime performer. Although he is a U.S. citizen and one of the world’s most-streamed artists, his decision to perform in Spanish has upset many conservatives. Bad Bunny is also known for expressing his political views and has frequently criticized President Donald Trump.
In response, Turning Point USA announced it would host a competing halftime show focused on what it described as a celebration of faith, family, and freedom. It will be the first halftime event the organization has put on.
The broadcast is expected to air during the same window as the NFL halftime show. While the event’s location has not been publicly discussed, the organization has emphasized it through multiple streaming options.

Turning Point USA has confirmed that the show will air across multiple conservative media platforms. Viewers will be able to watch on Daily Wire+, Real America’s Voice, TBN, CHARGE!, OAN News, NTD.com, and The National News Desk.
The event will also stream live on Turning Point USA’s social media channels, including YouTube, X, and Rumble.
Pro-Donald Trump Artists Headline Super Bowl Halftime Alternative Event
The lineup is built around country and rock artists with ties to the conservative movement.
The confirmed performers include Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.
Kid Rock, in particular, has been one of Donald Trump’s most vocal celebrity supporters and previously performed at campaign events and inauguration-related appearances.
“We plan to play great songs for folks who love America,” Kid Rock said. “We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath. Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible.”
Turning Point USA’s decision to directly compete with Bad Bunny’s performance highlights how politically charged even entertainment events have become.
The New England Patriots take the field against the Seattle Seahawks at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday in Santa Clara.
According to Turning Point USA, the All-American Halftime Show is scheduled to start around 8 p.m. ET, about the time the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show will air. Coverage for the show will start at 7:30 p.m. ET on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
