Trevor Lawrence’s Wife Marissa Pens 6-Word Father’s Day Message With Adorable Photo of Jaguars QB and Daughter Shae

Trevor Lawrence's wife Marrissa shared paid touching tribute to QB and her dad on Father's Day while also sharing an adorable picture of daughter Shae.

While Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence fell short of winning the NFL MVP again this past season, he did add a brand-new MVP to his squad: his daughter, Shae Lynn Lawrence.

The quarterback’s wife, Marrisa, had previously taken a playful dig at Lawrence’s one-arm parenting efforts over his injury, but on Father’s Day, he held Shae in both arms and earned a touching tribute from her.

Trevor Lawrence’s Wife Marissa Pays Touching Tribute To QB and Her Own Dad on Father’s Day

Marrisa shared an adorable picture of Lawrence holding Shae in his arms on her Instagram story. The quarterback was at a golf club and received a touching note from Marrisa.

“Father’s Day golf! We love you 🥹🤍 @tlawrenc16,” she captioned the picture.

Marrisa later shared a picture of Shae having fallen asleep in his arms before penning a heartfelt note for her father, whom she has credited for helping her while Lawrence was recovering from the shoulder injury.

“Happy Father’s Day to the best dad a girl could ask for! If you know him you know just how special he is. Thank you for always loving us no matter what, always being their for us, always providing for your family, and always praying for your girlsm and of course always keeping your car stocked with tampons and ponytails lol! The ultimate girl dad through and thorough. I love you dad,” Marissa wrote.

Lawrence’s shoulder surgery is the latest in a series of injuries that have plagued the Jaguars star over the past two seasons. The franchise quarterback, who signed a $275 million contract, played only 10 games in 2024 owing to various injuries, including a concussion, ankle and knee issues, and an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder.

The decision to shut him down for surgery was a tough call, but necessary for his long-term health. While he looked fine at the minicamp, there were still some concerns over his health at the minicamp. NFL analyst John Shipley addressed those concerns in his recent mailbag, and here’s what he had to say.

“It is our job to say what happens, but I would hardly look into practice results to determine a quarterback’s performance and trajectory,” he wrote. “I think he has been fine, but I also think the things the actual team and staff were evaluating are things we don’t see.”

Lawrence wants to shake off any “injury-prone” labels and get back as soon as possible to lead the Jaguars, who had a dismal 4-13 season in 2024. Jaguars fans will be hoping that 2025 will mark Trevor’s return to full health and the team’s resurgence.
