The Jacksonville Jaguars’ starting quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, took a massive hit during the Philadelphia Eagles matchup on Nov. 3. This injury later required him to miss the next two games against the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions, both of which resulted in disappointing losses.
Lawrence suffered from a painful AC joint sprain, but his wife, Marissa, shared a few snippets from their cozy time during the team’s bye week that gave fans hope about his potential return.
Trevor Lawrence’s Wife, Marissa, Shares Snippets From the Couple’s Time During Jaguars’ Bye Week
Following the Jaguars’ blowout loss against the Detroit Lions in Week 11, the team had some time off.
Lawrence spent the last two weeks plus recovering while enjoying some time off with his wife and dogs during the bye week.
Marissa shared a few pictures and videos from their baby moon/bye week while penning a heartfelt letter for the Jaguars quarterback: “We got to spend our weekend soaking up time together before baby girl gets here. Trevor, I love you so much. I can’t wait to watch you be the best dad… We’re so lucky to be loved by you! I love our little family.”
The first two pictures were selfies taken by Marissa, while the third was captured of the Jags quarterback lying down on his bed with his laptop and two furry friends.
In the next picture, Marissa was seen walking their dog, while the next three snippets included a snap of some moon-themed macaroons, a mirror selfie, and a bonfire, showcasing their fun yet cozy time together.
In another clip, the Lawrences are seen enjoying a bicycle ride with a breathtaking view. This is followed by a picture of their movie night together (Gladiator, are you not entertained?!?!).
In the last few snaps, the couple was seen getting into the holiday spirit as they were both out shopping for a Christmas tree. Later, they high-fived over their choice, followed by a half-decorated picture of the tree with the Jaguars quarterback.
The couple announced that they’re expecting their first kid on June 27, 2024, via a few heartwarming snaps from their maternity shoot, which Marissa later posted with the caption, “A little Lawrence on the way.”
