The Kelce Brothers have made a name for themselves both on and off the football field. Older brother Jason spent 13 years as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles. A seven-time Pro Bowler, he helped them win Super Bowl 52. Travis, most famous for dating Taylor Swift right now, is the starting tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s a 10-time Pro Bowler who has helped Kansas City win three Lombardi Trophies.
Now, they are almost equally as famous for their show, “New Heights,” and are sharing why they decided to start podcasting.

Jason and Travis Kelce Wanted to Showcase Their Brotherhood Through Podcasting
According to a video on X, while at Cannes Lions 2025 in Paris, Jason and Travis were interviewed and asked about why they started their podcast. Travis shared that they always felt no one knew they were brothers, except for sharing a name on their jerseys.
He joked that the podcast gave him a venue to share how much better his fashion sense is than Jason’s. In all seriousness, he said their relationship and sibling banter are something special they wanted to share with everyone.
“I think we’ve always wanted to show everybody our brotherhood, our family, how we’re in this crazy football world together, supporting each other from different sides of the country. It was an opportunity to spend more time together,” explained Travis.
Jason agreed and said that before the podcast, they might go months without talking. He said they always dreamt of a joint project, but it was hard when they were in different time zones.

He credits other podcasts, such as “Bussin’ with the Boys” and the “Draymond Green Show,” for paving the way for current players to go on air. Jason said they were nervous about trying to host while still playing.
Jason added that their success felt like a factor, “If you’re doing it while you’re playing when you’re winning, it’s the best thing in the world. Answering questions and having to be entertaining while you’re losing and people are like, ‘why isn’t this dude just focused on football right now?’ is not fun.”
In addition to working together, Jason said they like that they can now “control the narrative.” He said that previously, everything went through a reporter, but now they have a more authentic connection with listeners and are able to share their thoughts directly without a middleman.
The Kelce Brothers Hit New Heights With Lucrative New Deal
Their formula has undoubtedly paid off. According to CNN, the Kelce brothers have signed a new deal with Amazon’s podcast studio, Wondery, for “New Heights.” That deal brings exclusive ad-sales and distribution rights to Wondery and gives Jason and Travis a deal reportedly in the $100 million range.
The show is on its third season and consistently ranks among the top sports podcasts. Travis’ agent, Aaron Eanes, reportedly said they are excited about the new partnership and “look forward to reaching new heights.”
