Simmons followed up with, “Are your exes snubbing you in commercials?” The line landed with particular bite, especially considering Simmons’ own recent moment. His ex-girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, had poked fun at him in a Fanatics Sportsbook ad just days earlier.

Then came Nicole, introduced simply as the “ex of a certain NFL player.” She dismantled the credibility of her supposed helpers. “Don’t get me started on these two,” she said flatly. “They have no idea what they’re doing at all.” The delivery was breezy, but the subtext was anything but accidental.
