Both Travis Kelce and his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole have moved on — Kelce is dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, and Nicole is focused on her own career. But there’s one thing that keeps dragging Nicole back into the spotlight: online trolls.
Nicole and Kelce were in a high-profile relationship for nearly five years before they called it quits. Their breakup sparked headlines, speculation, and a wave of rumors that never really died down. And while both have moved forward, the internet hasn’t been so quick to let go— especially when it comes to Nicole.

Travis Kelce’s Ex-Girlfriend Kayla Nicole Shuts Down Trolls
Nicole isn’t one to stay silent. She recently addressed the hate head-on during a guest appearance on the podcast “Straight to Cam.”
Ever since Kelce and Swift went public, Nicole says the trolling has only gotten worse. From Swifties to NFL fans, the comments have been nonstop — but she’s not having it.
“No. 1 is just logging the f**k out. That’s my No. 1 go-to,” Nicole said. “When it becomes too much, I just have to log out. Because it’s not the real world, there’s life happening beyond the internet.”
She didn’t stop there. Nicole suggested that people who create fake accounts to harass others should face consequences.
“I also think people need to start doing psych evaluations before you can create a new Instagram account with a fake profile and a weird picture,” she said. “You should have to be psych evaluated!”
At 33, Nicole has found peace by learning to ignore the noise. She said friends will sometimes mention threads where Reddit users are “going in on her,” but she refuses to look.
“I don’t have the energy to feed into that,” she said.
Despite being on the receiving end of some Swiftie heat, Nicole made it clear she doesn’t have anything against Swift.
“I like her,” Nicole said. “She’s very talented.”
She also pushed back on being defined only by her connection to Kelce.
“I’ve never experienced anything like it — reduced to a headline, to something so small as someone’s ex-girlfriend,” she said.
Neither Kelce nor Swift has commented publicly on the situation, but Nicole isn’t looking for approval or acknowledgment. She’s carving out her own lane — speaking up, standing strong, and building her brand, including her activewear line, Special Forces.
For Nicole, this chapter isn’t about the past. It’s about ownership, growth, and refusing to let internet trolls write her story.
