Even though the 2026 NFL offseason is still in its early stages, there have already been quite a few blockbuster trades.
On Friday night, Maxx Crosby became the latest star on the move, as the Baltimore Ravens pulled off a massive deal to land the superstar EDGE from the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for two first-round picks.
Crosby, DJ Moore (Buffalo Bills), Trent McDuffie (Los Angeles Rams), Zaire Franklin (Green Bay Packers), and David Montgomery (Houston Texans) are among the notable players who have been dealt this offseason.
Trade Ideas Entering the 2026 NFL Offseason
PFSN recently asked our writers to name one trade that they want to see during the 2026 NFL offseason.
They offered up a wide variety of answers, including blockbuster deals involving Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown, Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr., San Francisco 49ers QB Mac Jones, New York Giants EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr., Buffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman, and Minnesota Vikings LB Jonathan Greenard.
Here are the moves that our writers want to see next:

Alex Kennedy
The New England Patriots should pull off a blockbuster trade for Michael Pittman Jr. to give Drake Maye a star WR1.
Recently, Pittman has surfaced in trade rumors since the Indianapolis Colts want to re-sign Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce to massive deals, and trading Pittman would free up nearly $24 million in cap space.
After releasing Stefon Diggs, the Patriots need to make a major addition to their WR room this offseason. While they are reportedly pursuing Pierce and hoping to steal him away from Indy, his teammate would also be a solid option if Pierce opts to stay.

Austin Swaim
Kayvon Thibodeaux would be a great add for the Patriots. There was always going be an odd man out at EDGE for New York after they drafted Abdul Carter, and the Pats have the draft capital (11 picks) and cap space to acquire Thibodeaux and give him a new deal.
The Patriots have been mentioned as a possible landing spot for Trey Hendrickson, but Eliot Wolf might realize the 25-year-old's timeline is a better fit for his developing roster than Hendrickson.

Jack Aaron
The Minnesota Vikings deserve a competent quarterback, and Mac Jones can certainly be that. The J.J. McCarthy experiment seems to be coming to an end soon, and the Vikings will certainly be looking for a proven veteran at the position.
Their offensive skill players, led by a core of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson, are still amongst the best groups in the league, as seen with Sam Darnold in 2024, and they deserve the right to prove that again.

Cameron Sheath
The New England Patriots need a young WR1 to pair with Drake Maye for the long term, while the Jacksonville Jaguars have one who doesn't fit their offense.
Brian Thomas Jr. has become an overqualified field-stretcher for Trevor Lawrence, and would be far more valuable to the Jaguars in a trade than he is on the field.

Ian Cummings
The Dallas Cowboys need help all across their defense, and cheap help if they can acquire it. Dallas can make a sizable dent with two first-round picks, but no Day 2 capital could leave them hurting for low-cost veteran help, with the offense primed to fire on all cylinders again.
If they can get a high-quality pass-rusher who fits Christian Parker's scheme for a Day 3 pick or two, that's the ideal outcome, and Jonathan Greenard might fit the bill. Recently, rumors have emerged that the Vikings are exploring trade opportunities with Greenard, who enters his age-29 season in 2026.
Greenard's sack output dipped from 12 in 2024 to just 3 in 2025, but his true pressure rate was actually higher in 2025 compared to 2024 (12.9% in 2025 versus 9.2% in 2024, per TruMedia). He allowed less than two yards per run stop and had a strong 3.3% TFL rate in run defense, and came away with a glowing 88.2 PFSN EDGE Impact grade, in a "down" year going by raw statistics.
Greenard is still in his prime, and Dallas might be able to get him for cheap, and insulate a hurting defense with a high-floor EDGE presence who's due for a positive regression in sack conversion, as long as Minnesota helps them with cap consideration.

Can we agree that Keon Coleman is not exactly fitting like a glove in Buffalo? The addition of DJ Moore certainly doesn't point to increased patience for the 2024 second round pick, so why not move on while there's still hope in his profile (he turns 23 years old in May)?
Two teams in the NFL were bottom-5 in both air yards per throw and deep ball completion percentage: the Steelers and the Browns. Either could roll the dice, and I'd never rule out the Ravens from trying to add cheap upside with Lamar Jackson's base salary clearing $51 million this season.

Jacob Infante
The Denver Broncos trading for A.J. Brown would be a lot of fun. Denver is in need of some additional burst to their offense to get them over the hump, and Brown was dissatisfied in Philadelphia all year.
If Eagles ship their star receiver to the Broncos for premier draft capital, Denver would form a dangerous WR duo with Brown and Courtland Sutton.
