NFL Fans Hurl Criticisms At Tony Romo

Romo, who played in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, got called out left and right by those watching the game.

Joe Fann, who is a former sportswriter, posted on X, “Tony Romo is just so bad. It’s a tough listen.”

Steven Cheah, who works with Barstool Sports, also chipped in with some thoughts. He posted on X, “Tony Romo is doing color commentary and has no idea what down it is”.

“Tony Romo bringing up Patrick Mahomes on 3 separate occasions in this game sums up his approach to commentary the last few years,” wrote Rich-DynastyIsland on X.

Dan Hanzus of “Heed the Call Podcast” also posted on X and said, “Imagine being a former player and saying this s**t?” PFT Commenter, who hosts the “Pardon My Take” podcast, also wrote, “I think Tony Romo just called Josh Allen ‘Mahomes'”.

Author Andy O’Bryan had some things to say, too, about Romo: “The Bills scored 5 seconds after Tony Romo said the Bills would have a hard time scoring”.

When Romo is calling the action, there are times when NFL fans just almost seem compelled to hit the mute button. Romo started out working with CBS and was getting a lot of credit and accolades for his uncanny ability to call plays before they happened.

Yet, as time has gone on with him and Nantz in the booth, there has been no love lost when NFL fans hear Romo offer his in-game analysis. NFL fans seem emboldened when Romo is calling the action, sharing their opinions. Expect more criticism of the Cowboys legend during the CBS telecast.
