Tom Brady has been everywhere lately and seems to be well settled in his post-retirement life. On Saturday, Brady turned plenty of heads at Fanatics Fest. The former Patriots quarterback channeled his inner Undertaker at the event in New York City.
However, not everyone was impressed with the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s WWE-inspired entrance.
Dave Portnoy Takes Issue With Tom Brady’s Undertaker-Inspired Entrance
Brady emerged from a casket as The Undertaker’s theme music played. He then swung a steel chair at a fan wearing an Atlanta Falcons jersey. This was a nod to the Patriots’ legendary Super Bowl LI comeback from a 28-3 deficit, which was referenced on the screen in the background.
The clip went viral on social media immediately, and Barstool Sports founder and Patriots superfan Dave Portnoy couldn’t resist taking a jab at Brady.

Brady’s performance was part of Fanatics Fest’s WWE-themed experience as several athletes recreated famous wrestling walkouts. Last year, Brady entered to Cody Rhodes’ theme music.
Brady has stayed busy throughout Fanatics Fest. His Undertaker entrance wasn’t the only moment that put him in the spotlight over the weekend.

The future Hall of Famer also made headlines after getting into a heated exchange with Logan Paul following a panel discussion. Video from the event showed Brady slapping the WWE star. Paul later joked that he planned to sue Brady (although there’s speculation that it was staged to promote a possible WWE storyline).

Meanwhile, the legendary quarterback fired back by calling him a “Dork” and adding, “I tried America… will try again next time I see this nerd.”

Away from the theatrics, Brady also spoke about Las Vegas Raiders rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza and revealed he paid a “very hefty price” to acquire Mendoza’s one-of-one autographed Topps trading card.
“There’s a Fernando Mendoza card that came out that I sent you, and I said, ‘I need this.’ I found it, and I got it, my first NFL auto one-of-one. I know how hard he works; he’s got a great family, and he’s coming to a great environment for success, so I figured I’ve got to invest in it,” Brady said.
“And you know what, the card was not easy to find. I know there’s a lot of negotiations that went back and forth for quite a bit. Ended up paying a very hefty price.”
In addition to being a broadcaster for Fox Sports, Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders.
