Being Tom Brady has its perks. He’s the greatest NFL quarterback of all time, he’s won more Super Bowls than anybody who’s ever lived, and now he’s a minority owner of his own NFL franchise.
The iconic quarterback has built a portfolio of endorsements and diversified his businesses in retirement, yet he’s still finding ways to maximise being Tom Brady.

Tom Brady’s Super Bowl Commercial Pays Endlessly
Tom Brady has done a lot of commercials. He’s been a used car salesman in a Hertz ad and also featured in a BetMGM commercial with ice-hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and comedy actor Vince Vaughn. He’s even stood holding a Subway sandwich in one of their star-studded ads.
But one of Brady’s Super Bowl ads has paid out more than he could have imagined. During the 2025 Super Bowl, he appeared in a Duracell commercial with his commentary partner, Kevin Burkhardt.
While it’s unknown what exactly Brady got paid for the Duracell ad, it was estimated that a 30-second advertisement during this year’s Super Bowl cost around $7 million. Brady likely got a nice payday for it, but on top of that, a very handy supply.
In his latest YouTube video uploaded on Friday, Brady reveals that he was given a lifetime supply of batteries for doing the ad. At the beginning of the video, he’s putting new batteries in his rangefinder before playing a little golf with Carlos Sainz Jr., the Formula 1 driver for Williams.
The YouTube video is sponsored by Duracell, pointing to Brady’s ongoing partnership with the brand.
As the ad began and the two started speaking, Brady shuts down. The ad suggests that the G.O.A.T. is a robot that runs on batteries, and the Duracell scientist quickly runs on set to fix him up.
When he comes back to life, Burkhardt asks if he is okay, to which Brady replies: “Why does everyone keep asking me that since the roast?”, a light-hearted joke aimed at the Tom Brady roast that appeared on Netflix.
Brady’s Ongoing Partnership With Duracell
According to reports, Brady met Ramon Velutini in December of 2024. Velutini is the global chief marketing officer for the Duracell company, and quickly went to work on selling Brady on the idea of a partnership and a Super Bowl ad.
Clearly, there was some synergy between the two, producing the commercial in an impressive time to get it ready to air during the Super Bowl. It’s one of the most expensive ad placements there is, but it must have worked out well for the partnership to have continued.
In Brady’s latest video, powered by Duracell, the company sets a challenge for Brady and Sainz to hit golf balls onto a floating island out in the bay. The NFL legend now has 320k subscribers on YouTube, with his most popular video being the challenge vs Dude Perfect.
