FOX Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz does not believe that the reported Tom Brady-Matthew Stafford meeting was a coincidence. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Schultz made clear that Brady is interested in bringing Stafford to the Las Vegas Raiders, the team he owns, should Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams not agree to a contract resolution before next year.
Earlier this week, reports began circulating on social media that Brady and Stafford had run into each other while both individuals were skiing with their families. However, Schultz has now highlighted how he does not think this interaction was purely coincidental.

However, in two separate social media posts, Schultz indicated his belief that this meeting was not an accident.

Brady has been actively trying to convince Stafford to join the Raiders, and discussions are ongoing. Several teams are interested in Stafford if the Rams decide to move him, with Las Vegas believed to be the most aggressive suitor,” the first post stated.

Will Matthew Stafford Leave the Los Angeles Rams?

While some people may believe that number is too high, that is the price of a good starting quarterback in the NFL in the current climate. Furthermore, Stafford has been one of the best quarterbacks in the entire league in recent years and is still going strong and playing good football at the age of 37.
According to the popular sports contract company Spotrac, Stafford’s market value is around $41,773,718 per season, a number that puts him in a comparable financial range with Jared Goff, Kirk Cousins, Derek Carr, and Aaron Rodgers.
