Tom Brady holds the NFL record for the most Super Bowl wins with seven. He won six out of his nine with the New England Patriots and went on to win another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to retiring.
However, retirement didn’t mean Brady was done with sports. He quickly became a part of the Fox Sports broadcast team, working as an analyst and commentator. In addition to that work, he has bought minority stakes in multiple teams, including the Las Vegas Raiders, WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, English soccer team Birmingham City F.C., and even a sports car racing team and a major league pickleball franchise. Now, Brady has taken to social media to share one of their latest accomplishments.

The GOAT and His Teams Just Keep Winning
Brady invested in the original game of “football” when he bought into Birmingham City in 2023. While Brady is a minority stakeholder, the investment reportedly helped the team bring some bigger-name players to Birmingham after the team was relegated in 2024.
Now that investment and energy seem to be paying off. As Brady took to Instagram to brag, the Birmingham Blues have been promoted after beating Peterborough United 2-1 in their Tuesday night League One clash.
“Straight back to the @efl Championship, and not done yet. @nfl fans are getting a crash course in the English Football pyramid!!!” said Brady on a graphic of the Blues players which announced they were “promoted” and are “on the rise again.”
The victory over Peterborough confirms the Blues’ promotion to the second tier. This indicates that the influence of American investors, like Brady, has helped the franchise regain its lost footing.
Tom Brady’s Other Football Project Has Created Controversy
While many Americans love the other game of football, they call soccer, most who are familiar with Brady are following his role as a part-owner of the Raiders. While Brady’s stake in the team is only 5%, many assume the franchise will rely heavily on his expertise.
His ownership stake puts him in a unique position because, as an analyst, he is supposed to be impartial. Brady is allowed to broadcast Raiders games but is not permitted to attend in-person or online broadcast production meetings and cannot access team facilities, players, or coaches.
His new dual role has been raising questions from the public. For example, early this offseason, Brady apparently hosted quarterback Matthew Stafford at his home in Montana, where the two went skiing. Other reports said they coincidentally bumped into each other. The Raiders were reportedly aggressively pursuing a trade of Stafford. Many believed Brady had broken tampering rules by courting Stafford while under contract.
Ultimately, it didn’t matter, as the league ruled he wasn’t tampering since Los Angeles gave Stafford permission to speak with the Raiders. Stafford chose to stay with the Rams, who made him the highest-paid player in NFL history with his new contract. Regardless, it created concerns regarding the grey area for Brady as a former player, teammate, and new owner. Fortunately, he doesn’t get asked those questions when dealing with Birmingham.
