A resurfaced video of NFL GOAT Tom Brady is reigniting buzz around his longtime rivalry with Eli Manning. While it’s unclear when the jersey-signing event actually took place, the clip is making the rounds again — and fans are loving it.
Though their once-intense rivalry has mellowed into a series of playful jabs over the years, Brady’s reaction in the video is a reminder of just how deep the competitive fire once burned. His almost-furious expression after being handed Manning’s No. 10 jersey to sign is comedy gold. But the best part? The GOAT still signed it.
What Tom Brady autographed on Manning’s jersey
Their storied rivalry should be enough to guess Brady’s reaction when he was handed a Manning jersey during a signing session. After taking a moment to think it over, Brady scribbled a bold “F**k off” on it in a clip from 2024 that’s now going viral.

Manning didn’t let Brady off the hook either — pun intended. The former Giants quarterback took his shot on Instagram after Brady posted a shirtless photo in December 2024, showing off a fishing catch.
“Cute minnow, Tom,” Manning replied.
Not one to back down, Brady fired back with an all-timer: “You use a helmet to catch that one too?” — a clear jab referencing David Tyree’s infamous helmet catch from Super Bowl XLII.
These two share one of the most memorable rivalries in NFL history. Brady had a perfect 18-0 season on the line in Super Bowl XLII, but Manning and the Giants shocked the world with a 17-14 win. The Giants did it again in Super Bowl XLVI, pulling off another upset in what many fans dubbed the rematch of 2008, this time with a 21-17 victory.
These days, the rivalry has shifted from the field to the front office and social media. Brady is now a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and has a lot more on his plate as the 2025 NFL Draft approaches.
According to Pro Football Network’s 2025 mock draft, the Raiders are expected to take Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty. That’s a change from earlier buzz suggesting Brady was pushing for quarterback Shedeur Sanders. One reason for the pivot? Las Vegas reportedly added veteran QB Geno Smith in a recent move.
That changes the draft strategy. Instead of building around a rookie QB, the Raiders can now add pieces to support Smith and give their offense more firepower. Ironically, Sanders is now projected to land with the New York Giants — Manning’s old squad — bringing this full circle.
Even in retirement, Brady and Manning know how to keep their rivalry alive. And NFL fans are absolutely here for it.
