A.J. Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a Super Bowl victory in the 2024 season, and what a performance in the Super Bowl it was. The Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs, at one point leading the contest 40-6 before winning 40-22. This is the second Super Bowl title in franchise history following their defeat of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in 2018.
Brown was a massive part of Philadelphia’s success in 2024. He was limited to 13 games this past season due to injury. However, he recorded his third straight 1000+ yard season and the fifth such season in the last six years. Brown finished with 1079 yards and seven touchdowns on 67 catches.
The Eagles are hoping to continue their success in 2025 and beyond. Brown certainly figures to be a major part of that. Especially if he can remain healthy and on the field for his team. This offseason, he received a major source of motivation through a message from Brady.

Eagles’ A.J. Brown Gets Inspiring Tom Brady Message
Brown received a signed jersey from Brady, as shown in a video on his Instagram, which was reposted on X. The video depicts a clearly hyped-up Eagles star with a package in hand. He opens the package to reveal a signed, current-era New England Patriots jersey.
“My dawg came through clutch. … Appreciate you, big bro. You officially reached big bro status. We locked in twin. Nah, it’s love. Appreciate you so much. Best to ever put a pair of cleats on. Now, debate that,” Brown says in the video after opening the package.

Brown shows the back of the jersey for a brief moment. However, Brady’s message to the Eagles star is clear when the video is slowed down. “AJ A GREAT PLAYER. A CHAMPION! LFG! TB12,” Brady’s message reads.

It’s certainly a fantastic sight to see how much this means to Brown, and the video is even better to watch with some additional context. The Eagles star seemed to confirm his NFL allegiance in an Instagram comment on April 1.
A personal friend of Brown’s commented that the star pass catcher had “been waiting on that since [they] were kids.” The Eagles star responded to this comment, affirming it. He even mentioned attending a Super Bowl party when Brady and New England lost to the New York Giants.
“they have no idea . You was there at my Super Bowl party when we lost to the giants . Cried my eyes out 🤣🤣🤣” Brown responded on Instagram.

Brady spent 20 seasons in the NFL, winning seven Super Bowls; six of these Super Bowls came for the Patriots. His final championship came as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Tampa Bay defeated the Chiefs in Super Bowl 55.
Brown and the Eagles are likely to be Super Bowl favorites in 2025. It certainly is not easy to repeat as champions, as Brady and Kansas City could attest to. However, it appears as if Philadelphia’s star pass catcher has the backing of the greatest quarterback to ever grace the gridiron.
