The Tennessee Titans are in a prime position heading into the 2025 NFL Draft with the first overall pick. After Will Levis struggled at quarterback last season, it’s widely expected that Tennessee will select a new signal-caller, though their exact plan still seems uncertain.
With Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward generally viewed as the draft’s top two quarterbacks, the Titans are expected to choose between them. Now, they may have dropped a major hint about their preference based on their presence at a recent Pro Day.

Did Tennesee Titans Reveal Their Choice at QB?
Many scouts and mock drafts project Cam Ward as the favorite to go No. 1 overall, potentially reshaping the Titans’ future. Even acclaimed talent evaluators like Louis Riddick are enamored with what Ward brings to the table.
The Titans, however, took their evaluation process to another level, sending a large group of top decision-makers to scout Ward at his Miami Pro Day. Albert Breer reported the extent of their presence:
“Titans contingent for Cam Ward’s Pro Day at the Univ. of Miami: President of football ops Chad Brinker, GM Mike Borgonzi, ass’t GM Dave Ziegler, VP Reggie McKenzie, head coach Brian Callahan, OC Nick Holz and QBs coach Bo Hardegree.”

With nearly every key figure in the Titans’ front office and coaching staff in attendance, Ward had a prime opportunity to make a strong impression. His game tape already has teams excited, especially after a dominant final season at Miami.
Taking over the Hurricanes’ offense, Ward threw for 4,313 yards with a 67.2% completion rate, 39 touchdowns (44 total touchdowns), and seven interceptions. His efficiency in the red zone and ability to extend plays has made him a highly coveted prospect.
Ward’s athleticism is another major selling point. In his final college season, he added 204 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground, making him a true dual threat at the next level.
As an unrecruited player to a potential No. 1 overall pick, Ward’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. With the Titans’ front office heavily scouting him and the latest mock draft from PFSN, which follows user trends according to PFSN’s NFL Mock Draft Simulator, does give hope that is soon to find a new home with the Titans.
“The Tennessee Titans have done very little to address their quarterback situation in free agency, suggesting that their eggs are firmly in the basket of adding a rookie this offseason. Most reports have their target being Cam Ward rather than Shedeur Sanders,” wrote PFSN’s Ben Rolfe.
“Ward is the upside play as the ultimate playmaker at QB, boasting elite arm talent, effortless velocity, and dynamic athleticism. His confidence and creativity set him apart, but more development is required before he will be anything close to the finished product. With Will Levis and Brandon Allen on the roster, Ward’s development will come on the field in 2025.”
