Thursday Night NFL DFS Picks | Dolphins

Here are my favorite NFL DFS picks for the underdog Dolphins, using FanDuel scoring. In combination with my Ravens selections, these players fall within the single-game tournament and 50/50 salary cap.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins ($12,000)

For weeks, I’ve been pushing Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki as the only streamable fantasy options for Miami. Yes, Myles Gaskin has his moments, but he needs major targets or a TD to be viable.

When it comes to high floor and high ceiling, Waddle is the best bet. The rookie has scored in only one game since Week 2. We have to believe Miami will continue putting a premium on getting the ball into the hands of their best playmaker, including near the end zone. Waddle’s 43 targets in his last four contests reinforce his value to this team and to fantasy competitors.

Mack Hollins, WR, Dolphins ($6,500)

To make the numbers work, we need one cheap option. Mack Hollins enjoyed 6 targets last week, and if Waddle struggles, is a small hedge in an injury-depleted receiving corps. Game script should force the Dolphins to throw, particularly against a subpar Ravens defense. Hollins could sneak in with 8+ points.

Thursday Night NFL DFS Picks | Ravens

Tonight should be Baltimore’s night, so three of the five players in my lineup are Ravens. As noted above, in combination with my Dolphins selections, these players fall within the single-game tournament and 50/50 salary cap.

Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens ($17,000)

If you have a DFS MVP slot, Lamar Jackson belongs there. No one tonight has a higher floor or ceiling. In fact, if Jackson puts up 35+ fantasy points, would anyone be surprised? He’s one of Week 10’s safest bets in general, and he probably should be more expensive in DFS.

Marquise Brown, WR, Ravens ($13,500)

I had about a half-dozen “finalized” lineups before settling on this one. None of the others included Marquise Brown, as his price tag limits our flexibility for landing other starters. But Brown is still Jackson’s No. 1 target, and he can do a ton of damage against this Miami defense.

Devonta Freeman, RB, Ravens ($10,500)

Devonta Freeman has been a big fantasy name the past few weeks — partly due to usage, but largely due to scoring in each of his past three games.

It’s funny how fantasy success sometimes hinges on whether a player finds the end zone. That said, I’m expecting Baltimore to find the end zone at least 4 times tonight. So betting on Freeman seems like a good wager.
