Green Bay Packers defensive end Micah Parsons was one of many people watching Thursday night’s NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants from MetLife Stadium. He wasn’t a happy camper, either.
Parsons has had his fair share of battles against the Eagles when he was with the Dallas Cowboys and has faced quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia offense before. He knows that they love to run a particular play, too.

Micah Parsons Slams Eagles’ Tush Push Play
In the second quarter, Hurts and the Eagles’ offense ran four straight “Tush Push” plays. Hurts eventually scored a touchdown from one yard out, giving the Eagles a 17-13 lead.
Well, Parsons saw what was taking place on the field, and he couldn’t contain himself. Parsons headed over to X and made a post that took direct aim at the Eagles’ offensive strategy in that series.
This is not football! 🚮🚮

In a briefly worded post, Parsons wrote, “This is not football!” He added emojis representing someone putting something in the trash after making his statement. Parsons’ post on X had already accumulated more than one million views on Thursday night.
It’s safe to say that many other NFL fans probably felt the same way that Parsons did after watching what happened on the field.
This past offseason, Parsons was involved in a contract dispute with Cowboys owner-general manager Jerry Jones, and it wasn’t always friendly. At one point, Jones believed that he had a handshake deal with Parsons on a new deal. But that didn’t keep Parsons from being on the sidelines with an injury.
In one of the Cowboys’ preseason games, cameras caught Parsons lying on a trainer’s table along the sidelines. That didn’t sit well with Jones and Cowboys management, so Parsons was sent to Green Bay.
Once Parsons went to the Packers, he chose No. 1 as his uniform number. He’s been a stellar addition to the Packers’ defense, while the Cowboys have been missing someone like him in the middle of their defensive line.
Parsons played his college ball at Penn State and was the Cowboys’ first-round draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. In four seasons with Dallas, he totaled 52.5 sacks and 172 solo tackles. In four games in the 2025 NFL season with Green Bay, Parsons has 2.5 sacks and four solo tackles.
The Packers hope he can bring that intensity to their defense. Parsons will also keep hoping that the NFL will get rid of the “Tush Push” at some point.

Those aren’t handicap emoji’s, they are a person putting trash in the bin. He’s saying it’s garbage what the Eagles are doing.
