A legendary career for Tom Brady came to an end after the 2022 NFL season. Since then, he’s expanded his business ventures into multiple different avenues. While remaining connected with the football world, he’s also dipped his toes into other areas.
His latest foray, though, has brought in a ton of controversy. After an altercation with Logan Paul, it looks like the seven-time Super Bowl champion is aiming for a professional wrestling match in the WWE, much to the chagrin of some of his biggest competitors.
Tom Brady Is Alienating His Fan Base
During his career, Brady showed a knack for the business world. Developing his own apparel brand, alongside the multitude of endorsements under his belt, he was slowly building a legitimate empire.
That trend has continued after his retirement as well. A broadcasting role with FOX Sports and a minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders keep him connected to the gridiron.
The latest, though, has been a steadily building rivalry with Paul. A social media influencer and content creator, he became a full-time WWE wrestler and has quickly become a major attraction for them. Now, his fame seems to have caught Brady’s eye as well.
During the recent Fanatics Fest event in New York, the two got into a physical altercation, potentially marking the next step in their feud, which has included multiple comments against one another and their choice of sport over the past year.
Will Compton, host of “Bussin’ With The Boys,” isn’t too thrilled about the idea. Spending nearly a decade in the NFL after coming in as an undrafted free agent, he does not like the new version of Brady that has come out since retirement.

“I hate seeing my boy TB12 doing the fake beef thing,” he complained. “We know it’s going to be WWE. I’m not going to tune into Netflix to watch Tom Brady wrestle.” For the former Washington Redskins star, the switch in careers is too jarring.
“I just don’t see Tommy B as a WWE superstar. I don’t know. The world that he lives in in my brain, that’s not my Tom Brady. But look, it’s his life. It’s not up for my judgment. I just hate to see it.” Moreover, he believes it becomes a bigger problem given the way Brady had always carried himself previously.
“He just looks way too pretty. He carries himself like a business guy. It’s all about success and the way he was with the Patriots. He goes in, he’s like a he’s an owner in the NFL. He’s got his hands in so many things. He doesn’t need to do this fake beef.”
It remains to be seen if Brady follows through on the premise of what he’s planning with Paul. But, as more of his football fan base shies away from the idea, it might lead to an eventual change in plans for the NFL legend.
