NFL World Reacts to Bills Owner Terry Pegula’s Wild Presser About Sean McDermott Firing: ‘What a Trainwreck’

NFL fans were shocked by comments made by Bills owner Terry Pegula and GM Brandon Beane during their recent press conference after Sean McDermott's firing.

Earlier this week, the Buffalo Bills made the shocking decision to fire HC Sean McDermott following their playoff loss to the Denver Broncos. Changes needed to be made to the Bills’ staff, no doubt, but many people believed that it would be someone else, GM Brandon Beane.

Buffalo Bills Hold Interesting Press Conference After Sean McDermott’s Firing

Due to a number of underwhelming draft classes that have set the Bills back, Beane was the obvious choice to move on from, but that’s not what happened.

In Wednesday’s press conference after McDermott’s firing, Beane and owner Terry Pegula spoke to the media, and it created some less-than-receptive reactions around the NFL World.

One fan stated, “Maybe Terry Pegula shouldn’t answer questions. What a trainwreck”.

“Listening to Terry Pegula speak is PAINFUL” one fan expressed.

One fan explained, “Sean McDermott was far from perfect. And he should have probably been out a couple of years ago. But this press conference from Pegula and Brandon Beane is insulting to a guy who helped turn around a franchise that was a laughing stock”.

One fan questioned and proposed:

“NFL fans are learning what Sabres fans have been saying for some time about Terry Pegula.” Another fan pointed out.

One fan realized, “I guess we know why Terry Pegula hasn’t taken questions from the media in 7 years”

One fan asked:

“If you had any questions over whether or not Terry Pegula is clueless, he’s answered those definitively. Hard to even believe some of what he’s saying.” One fan declared.

After making their questionable decision to fire McDermott, it seems the Bills failed to quell the criticisms and made it even worse with this press conference. Not a great start to the offseason for Buffalo.
