Looking ahead to the 2026 season, Coco Gauff, Iga Świątek, Naomi Osaka, and Emma Raducanu will all begin their tournaments at the United Cup. The mixed-gender team tennis tournament is scheduled to take place from Jan. 2 to Jan. 11, 2026, in Australia. Matches will be held at the RAC Arena in Perth and the Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney.

Gauff, representing the United States, Osaka, representing Japan, and Raducanu, representing Great Britain, will compete in the group stage matches in Perth. Meanwhile, Świątek, who is part of the Polish team, will play her group stage matches in Sydney.

Coco Gauff, Iga Świątek, Naomi Osaka, and Emma Raducanu To Compete at the 2026 United Cup

In addition to the United States, Poland, Japan, and Great Britain, other countries participating in the United Cup include Argentina, Spain, Canada, Belgium, China, Italy, France, Switzerland, Australia (the host country), the Czech Republic, Norway, Greece, the Netherlands, and the former champions, Germany.

Team USA will enter the tournament as the defending champion, having won the title for the second time in 2025 after defeating Team Poland in the final. They also won the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2023, beating Italy in the final. Poland has finished as the runner-up twice, in 2024 and 2025, losing to Germany and the USA in the finals, respectively. Team Japan will be making its tournament debut next year.

In addition to Gauff, Team USA will feature players such as Taylor Fritz, Varvara Lepchenko, Mackenzie McDonald, Christian Harrison, and Nicole Melichar-Martinez, with Michael Russell serving as the captain. Team Poland will be represented by Świątek, Hubert Hurkacz, Daniel Michalski, Katarzyna Kawa, Jan Zieliński, and Katarzyna Piter, with Mateusz Terczyński serving as the captain.

Team Great Britain consists of Raducanu, Jack Draper, Billy Harris, Mimi Xu, Lloyd Glasspool, Olivia Nicholls, and captain Tim Henman. Meanwhile, Team Japan includes Osaka, Nao Hibino, Shintaro Mochizuki, Yasutaka Uchiyama, and captain Go Soeda.

Who Will Gauff, Świątek, Osaka, and Raducanu Face in the Group Stage Matches at United Cup 2026?

Team USA is placed in Group A alongside Argentina and Spain. During the group stage at the 2026 United Cup, Gauff will face Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro and Argentina’s Solana Sierra in singles matches. These matchups will mark the two-time Grand Slam singles champion’s first encounters with both players on the WTA Tour.

Team Poland is placed in Group F alongside Germany and the Netherlands. During the group stage, Świątek will compete against Germany’s Eva Lys and the Netherlands’ Suzan Lamens in singles matches. The former world No. 1 has faced Lys three times on the WTA Tour and has won all of those matches. She has faced Lamens only once and has also won that match.

Meanwhile, Team Great Britain and Team Japan are in Group E alongside Team Greece. During the singles matches, Raducanu and Osaka will face each other, and both players will also go up against Greece’s Maria Sakkari.
