Vacherot is playing notably in his hometown’s tournament and has defeated elite players, including Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the round of 64, Lorenzo Musetti in the round of 32, and Hubert Hurkacz in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, he faced the Australian star Alex de Minaur and emerged victorious, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, in 2 hours and 24 minutes.
After defeating De Minaur, Vacherot clinched his fourth top 10 win and booked his seat for the semifinal round. Following his notable victory, the rising star expressed his joy, adding, “It is such an honor to be part of the semifinals with the three best players of the past few years. I can’t wait to play Carlos tomorrow in my hometown, it is amazing.”
He continued, expressing his thoughts on the crowd’s energy, which also had his childhood friends, mentioning, “All the guys in the crowd chanting, they are my best friends from when I was nine, 10 years old. It is rare for a player to have this chance to have this many people around. The members sat in the boxes. I am so lucky to have a tournament in my club.”
His girlfriend, a pillar of support in his on- and off-court journey, also shared heartwarming glimpses of his feat through her Instagram stories, warmly mentioning, “ABSOLUTE CINEMA” and “WHAT IT MEANS 🥹.”

Vacherot first met Snyder in 2022, when he was resting at home after suffering from a stress fracture in his foot. The former, then a University of North Carolina undergraduate studying in Barcelona, went to Monaco with friends for a weekend.

The couple eventually met one evening and stayed connected for the following months, and later Snyder moved to attend the International University of Monaco. Since then, she has been a steady presence in his life, and the couple has been steadily growing in their relationship.
Considering the importance of finding a partner who understands the demands of this sport, Vacherot highlighted his girlfriend’s significant support and profound understanding.
He added, “Your partner has got to deal with that and be okay with that. And luckily for me, my girlfriend is amazing with that. She just never complains about how much time I’m training and everything… When it’s probably 325 days out of 365, it gets pretty long sometimes. Thanks to her for that. It’s really important.”
