Tommy Paul Shares Thoughts on Wedding Ahead of Houston Quarterfinal

Paul has entered the ATP 250 tournament as the fourth seed and is impressively competing at the River Oaks Country Club. In the round of 16, he defeated Paraguayan talent Adolfo Daniel Vallejo with a final scoreline of 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. The American star lost the first set but came back dominantly to secure the last two in two hours and 24 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, he is set to face Argentine talent and former World No. 27 Tomás Martín Etcheverry. The duo is set to battle for the second time in their careers, as they last clashed in this year’s ATP Masters 1000 Miami in the round of 16, with Paul taking the win.

Ahead of his match, Paul expressed his excitement and anticipation for his wedding to the famed influencer and entrepreneur. He mentioned, “Of course, I’m super excited. I mean, it’s going to be, I’ve been telling Paige, it’s going to be the best day of our lives for sure.”

Paul also lightheartedly revealed that he isn’t that much involved in the preparation and is now looking forward to engaging, adding, “I have not helped a whole lot with the wedding planning process, but I think it’s about time I’m starting to get a little bit involved. I think I’ll start getting on some calls here in the next couple weeks. My favorite flower is the peony. That’s a good one.”

During his third-round on-court interview at the Australian Open, Paul revealed the wedding date, his involvement, and how Lorenze is planning the wedding.

He shared, “It’s after Wimbledon, and we’re really excited for it. She’s so good at that kind of stuff. This is the first wedding that she’s planned, but I trust her with my life. She’s doing most of it, and likes bringing stuff and asking me questions about it.”

Lorenze shares her passion for lifestyle and fashion across Instagram and YouTube, and in 2021, she brought her creative vision to life by launching her own brand, “Dairy Boy.” Apart from this, the couple has also launched their foundation, “Kids Outdoors,” to help children gain access to activities such as skiing, horseback riding, and tennis.
