On Jul. 13, 2025, Lorenze took to social media to share a series of pictures from her and Paul’s engagement celebration on the beach. The couple also wore matching white outfits for the occasion.

In a recent video on her YouTube channel, Lorenze revealed that she had previously informed Paul that she wanted their engagement proposal to remain unfilmed.
The social media influencer stated that this was important to her because both her life and Paul’s life are frequently documented, with her being an influencer and Paul being a professional tennis player.
“So, I actually told Tommy a while ago, when the time came, that I didn’t want any of the proposal filmed. No photos, no videos. And I think that might be a surprise to some people, but it was really important to me that this moment was just the two of us. So much of my life is filmed, and honestly, so is his in a different way,” Lorenze said.
Lorenze expressed that she wanted their engagement to be a private, genuine moment, rather than something staged for content.
“But yeah, I just really wanted something that was just purely us, private, and really real and not for content. And that was really important to me, and he was very on board with that. I couldn’t be happier that I made that decision because I really feel like it made that moment so much more special. It truly felt unlike anything,” she continued.
Lorenze described the engagement day as special and dreamlike, feeling surrounded by love. She also mentioned that she is “excited” for the next chapter of her life.
“I felt like I was surrounded by love, not only by Tommy. It was the craziest feeling. Tommy and I both have never felt a feeling like that before. It felt like a dream. It was also just the most gorgeous, perfect day. It was supposed to be super rainy that day, and ended up being perfectly golden and beautiful. It was just such a special moment, and honestly, I’m just really excited for this next chapter in my life,” Lorenze added.
On the tennis front, Paul recently concluded his grass court season, competing in the 2025 Eastbourne Open, where he lost to wild card Dan Evans in the second round. He then participated in the Wimbledon Championships, defeating wild card Johannus Monday in the first round, before being eliminated by Sebastian Ofner in the second round.
Looking ahead, Paul is scheduled to begin his hard court season at the 2025 Canadian Open, which will take place from Jul. 27 to Aug. 7, 2025, at Sobeys Stadium in Toronto. Last year, he reached the second round and lost to compatriot Brandon Nakashima there.
