How Paige Lorenze Reacted to Tommy Paul’s Honest Admissions About Their Engagement
Paul, appearing in an interview with “Tennis Channel,” recently detailed how he planned to propose to his girlfriend.
The proposal took place in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where Paul rented a cottage after initially planning a beach proposal that was foiled by bad weather. Notably, it occurred while the American was out of tennis with an injury that he sustained at Wimbledon.
“I knew I was going to do it for a while,” Paul told “Tennis Channel”. “I didn’t know when, and then obviously I was out for a little bit, so it was kind of like a forced vacation.”
Paul revealed that he took off a protective boot that he was wearing due to the injury before proposing to Lorenze.
“After Wimbledon, I went into a boot for 2 weeks, which wasn’t ideal, but I took the boot off when I got engaged, when I bent the knee,” Paul disclosed in the interview.

Even Lorenze, 26, was surprised when Paul turned up for the big moment without his protective boot on, the American. Lorenze recently reacted to Paul’s honest admissions in the comments section of the clip shared by the ATP Tour.
“How handsome is he,” she gushed.

Paul and Lorenze first met at the 2022 US Open and confirmed their relationship in October of that same year.
Lorenze, an influencer, entrepreneur, and business owner, often accompanies Paul to tournaments and posts about their adventures on her social media platforms.
Notably, Lorenze has over a million followers on Instagram and frequently shares snippets from her life on the platform.
How Tommy Paul Has Performed Since His Return to Action at the Cincinnati Open
The Americans’ season has been a battle against injuries. He suffered an abdominal injury during his run to the Roland Garros quarterfinals.
He returned to Wimbledon, but lost in the second round to Austria’s Sebastian Ofner, sustaining another injury in his foot.
Paul has not disappointed his fans since returning to action at the Cincinnati Open, where he is seeded 13th.
In his first match, the American was pitted against Spanish World No. 66 Pedro Martinez, who has had his best results on clay. Paul used his hard-court expertise to edge Martinez out comfortably with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
He will face veteran Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, who advanced to the third round of the tournament by defeating Czech Tomas Machac, the No. 19 seed, 6-3, 6-3. Mannarino, who is currently ranked No. 94 in the world, had to come through qualifying to make the main draw of the tournament.
