Iga Świątek, Elena Rybakina, Andrey Rublev, and other WTA and ATP stars will be headlining the inaugural edition of the World Tennis Continental Cup, which will be held in Shenzhen, China, from December 26 to 28, 2025, between Team Europe and Team World.
At the Gala dinner that took place before the event, the Polish sensation was seen wearing a striking black combination, while Rybakina was in elegant white, and Rublev wore a casual yet stylish ensemble.

The 2025 World Tennis Continental Cup is set to take place between two teams: Team Europe, featuring Świątek, Belinda Bencic, Valentin Vacherot, and Flavio Cobolli, and Team World, comprising Rybakina, Rublev, Zhang Zhizhen, and Wang Xinyu. The World No. 2 was seen attending the Gala dinner wearing a designed black top and black lowers, completing the look with a belt and short heels.

The other WTA star, Rybakina, donned an all-white ensemble, showcasing her elegance in a white jacket, sweater, and cream-coloured pants.

Whereas the ATP World No. 16 donned a dark t-shirt with a stylish grey jacket and trousers, completing the look with dark shoes. The 2025 World Tennis Continental Cup will be held at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre, organised by Cornerstone Sports Group.

The matches of the exhibition event will be held similarly to Roger Federer’s Laver Cup, with two teams battling through 10 games in both the singles and doubles categories. The players will be awarded points, and the team with the most points will be declared the champion.

On December 26, the first day of the exhibition event, two matches will take place: one between Bencic and Xinyu, and then another between the Polish star and the 2025 WTA Finals champion, the Russian-Kazakhstani star Rybakina.

The next day will feature matches between Cobolli and Zhizhen, Świątek and Xinyu, Vacherot and Rublev, and doubles of Bencic with Cobolli and Zhizhen with Xinyu. On December 28, 2025, the last day will feature matches between Vacherot and Zhizhen, Bencic and Rybakina, and Cobolli and Rublev, as well as the doubles of Świątek and Vacherot against Rublev and Rybakina.

The World No. 5, Rybakina, was also seen practicing ahead of the exhibition event. The last time Rybakina faced Świątek was during the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Rybakina defeated the Polish sensation during one of her group stage matches.
