Andre Agassi recently shared an amusing anecdote about his wife, Steffi Graf, finally acknowledging that Lorenzo Musetti is handsome. Agassi revealed that Graf came to this realization after he showed her a photograph he had taken with Musetti in New York just before the French Open.
Musetti is currently competing in Paris at the clay-court tournament, where he is seeded eighth. The Italian made it to the semifinals by defeating qualifier Yannick Hanfmann, lucky loser Daniel Elahi Galán, Mariano Navone, 10th seed Holger Rune, and 15th seed Frances Tiafoe.
Andre Agassi Reveals Wife Steffi Graf Accepting Lorenzo Musetti As ‘Good Looking’
In a recent media interaction, Agassi remarked that Musetti stands out as the “best-looking” player remaining in the draw at the 2025 French Open. He even suggested that the Italian might be the most attractive competitor in the entire tournament.
“Musetti is the best-looking guy left in the draw. I mean, he might be the best-looking guy in the whole tournament,” Agassi said.
Agassi recounted his meeting with Musetti in New York, where he captured a photo with the Italian. The 55-year-old mentioned that he wanted the picture to convince Graf that Musetti was “easy on the eyes.” He revealed that after seeing the photograph, Graf conceded that Musetti is indeed a “good-looking dude.”

“Before this tournament started, I think I ran into him in New York, and I said, ‘Excuse me,’ I just introduced myself and said, ‘Can I just take a picture with you? Because I have to prove to my wife, who doesn’t believe me, that every lady I’ve talked to says you’re easy on the eyes.’ So I took a picture next to my big, bald, ugly head,” Agassi said.
When asked if Graf was convinced, the eight-time Grand Slam singles champion said:
She doesn’t have a thing for Italians, but she absolutely thought he was a good-looking dude.”

Lorenzo Musetti Has Reached the Semifinals at the 2025 French Open
Following his win over Frances Tiafoe in the quarterfinals of the French Open, Musetti is set to take on second seed and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals.
Alcaraz clinched the title in 2024 by defeating Alexander Zverev in the final. This year, he secured his place in the semifinals after defeating qualifier Giulio Zeppieri, Fábián Marozsán, Damir Džumhur, 13th seed, Ben Shelton, and 12th seed Tommy Paul.
Musetti and Alcaraz have faced each other six times on the ATP Tour, with the Spaniard emerging victorious in five of those fixtures. Their most recent encounter was in the semifinals of the 2025 Italian Open, where he triumphed with a score of 6-3, 7-6(4). The former World No. 1 then went on to defeat Jannik Sinner in the final, securing his seventh Masters 1000 title and 19th overall career title.
