Tsitsipas began his relationship with Badosa in May 2023 at the Italian Open in Rome. The Greek later shared that he made a bet with himself: if Badosa won her second-round clash against Ons Jabeur, he would reach out.
He did, and they began their relationship. In June 2023, the couple revealed that they were together.
In May 2024, Badosa announced that they had decided to “amicably part ways,” a significant shift in their relationship. Their separation lasted only a few weeks, after which they got back together. Their story quietly closed in July 2025 after their Wimbledon Championships exit, as both began new journeys apart.
Since January this year, Tsitsipas has spoken about his relationship with Kristen Thoms, whose unwavering support has become a familiar sight at his tournaments. She is a former collegiate tennis player at Florida Atlantic University who is now a model and social media influencer.
The Greek talent recently celebrated her birthday, revealing admirable glimpses on his Instagram stories. He also shared messages in the stories, mentioning, “Keep God first in your life and you’re bound to prosper” and “Oh my! 🎂✨🌴.”

A few days ago, Tsitsipas shared an indirect remark about his previous relationship with Badosa. During his interview at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) event in Nîmes, the Greek was asked what he would choose: a “tennis girlfriend” or a “non-tennis girlfriend,” to which he replied, “a non-tennis girlfriend.”
He further explained his reason, adding, “Trust me. Even if you don’t want to admit there’s competitiveness, there’s always competitiveness.” This also garnered a reaction from Badosa, who added a string of laughing emojis, “🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
In a recent X post, Tsitsipas shared his thoughts, highlighting his calm mentality and detachment from situations. He reflected, “I no longer react. I just vanish with grace and mentally write a haiku about it.”
