What Did Meghan Markle Gift Serena Williams On Her 44th Birthday?

Markle has Williams a special gift from her recently launched lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard’s wine label, As Ever. The tennis legend took to Instagram to share her excitement, uploading two short clips that show her carefully unboxing a beautifully designed casket containing three bottles of the famous Napa Valley Rosé.

In the videos, Williams gives her followers a glimpse of the elegant packaging while expressing her appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, and says:

“Thank You. Yes, I can’t wait.”

Markle then reposted the clips to her own Instagram Stories alongside three pink heart emojis.

However, Williams will not be celebrating her birthday as she was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, a sect of Christianity. An important aspect of that belief is that those who practice the religion do not celebrate birthdays.

Notably, Markle has often supported Williams at her tournaments, while the tennis legend attended her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. The pair have also been spotted dining together in California, celebrating personal and professional milestones.

Serena Williams Retired from Tennis in 2022

Williams has set tongues wagging about a possible return to tennis after she recently flaunted her chiselled physique on Instagram. The 23-time Grand Slam champion, who retired in August 2022, often shares selfies from the gym with her 18 million followers, triggering murmurs of a comeback.

Moreover, there has been renewed speculation due to her older sister Venus’s recent return to the sport.

Williams, however, has remained non-committal. Since stepping away from tennis after her third-round exit at the 2022 US Open, she has immersed herself in multiple ventures, including her venture capital firm Serena Ventures, beauty label Wyn Beauty, fashion brand S by Serena, and her production company Nine Two Six Productions.

She has also emphasized her focus on family life with husband Alexis Ohanian and their two daughters, Olympia and Adira.
