Serena Williams Spotted in Novak Djokovic Knee Sleeve Amid Injury Break

Williams posted pictures of herself working out and undergoing rehab training while sporting a sleeve on her left knee. She was seen wearing the Incrediwear knee sleeve, which was designed in partnership with Djokovic. The design features the Djokovic logo and is intended to accelerate recovery at the cellular level.

Tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg pointed out that Williams was wearing the Djokovic-branded sleeve.

The partnership between Djokovic and Incrediwear was launched earlier this year, with the 24-time Grand Slam champion debuting the collaboration ahead of the Indian Wells Masters tournament. The collection includes arm, leg, and knee sleeves that feature semiconductor particles to emit therapeutic infrared light and increase circulation.

Meanwhile, Williams made a spectacular return to tennis last month, competing in doubles events during the grass-court swing before accepting a wildcard to compete in both the women’s singles and doubles tournaments at Wimbledon.

The 44-year-old faced Maya Joint in the first round of the singles tournament and delivered a resilient performance. However, she fell short and lost in three sets.

It later emerged that Williams had suffered a knee injury during the singles match, forcing her to withdraw from the doubles tournament, where she was scheduled to compete alongside her sister, Venus Williams.

After withdrawing from the doubles event, Williams hinted that she could make her return to the tennis court during the North American swing. A nine-time US Open champion across singles and doubles, Williams last competed at Flushing Meadows in 2022.

It remains to be seen whether the knee injury will derail the legend’s bid to compete at the US Open or any of the events in the lead-up to the final Grand Slam of the year. However, she is certainly pulling out all the stops to ensure that she is able to compete during the hardcourt swing.
