Serena Williams Promotes Khloe Kardashian’s New Snack Line With a Brief Message
Kardashian, with a net worth of $60 million (according to Celebrity Net Worth), is launching Khloud Protein Popcorn on Tuesday, April 29. The seed-oil-free snack comes with more than thrice the protein found in regular popcorn.
Moreover, the product will be launched in three flavors: Olive Oil & Sea Salt, Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, and White Cheddar. The brand was reportedly looking to raise $10 million initially but raised $2 million more than the targeted amount, courtesy of major investors including K5 Global, Serena Ventures, Shrug Capital, and William Morris Endeavor (WME).
Williams recently shared Serena Ventures’ Instagram endorsement of Kardashian’s new snack line to her story.
“The news is out! Mark your calendars for April 29 to order at the link below,” the caption read.

Williams played her last match at the 2022 US Open, losing to Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic 7-5, 6-7 (4), 6-1 in the third round. The former world No. 1 shifted her focus entirely to entrepreneurship after retirement, though she had started Serena Ventures in 2014. The firm primarily invests in early-stage startups across TMT, healthcare, e-commerce, and the wellness industry. Their notable investment includes an edtech startup, MasterClass, and an AI-driven platform, Parfait.
Khloe Kardashian Revealed Why She Introduced Serena Williams-Backed Food Brand, ‘Khloud’
Speaking to People recently, Kardashian shed light on how essential protein intake was for her and what made her introduce her food brand, ‘Khloud’, which is also backed by Serena Williams. “I’m at this stage in my [health] journey for the past few years that I’ve been really trying to up my protein intake. Protein-wise, I’m not someone that is going to sit down and have steak and eggs all day long, and I need to consume protein,” she said.
Khloud comes as an appropriate option for consumers searching for high-protein snack varieties. Each flavor contains 7 grams of protein per serving.
“I was going to fitness stores to get protein, grab and go. And they don’t taste very well, in my opinion, and they’re filled with so much filler and artificial stuff. And I really just wanted something, selfishly, that tasted great, that didn’t have a ton of ingredients in it, that I could [fulfill] my protein intake [with],” added Kardashian.
The launch of Kardashian’s snack line and its association with American tennis legend Williams marks the beginning of a new entrepreneurial chapter. Williams has also combined her passion for business and sports through numerous other investments.
The former World No. 1 co-owns Tomorrow’s Golf League’s Los Angeles Golf Club with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and sister, Venus Williams. The 43-year-old acquired the ownership claims of the WNBA’s Toronto Tempo, which will debut in the 2026 season.
