Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Delights in ‘100lbs of Cuteness’ To Fulfill Promise Made to Daughters

Ohanian, a seasoned tech entrepreneur, co-founded the renowned social media platform Reddit in 2005. The 42-year-old currently leads the venture capital firm Seven Seven Six, known for backing tech-driven startups. Despite his business commitments, he remains an actively involved parent and often delights his daughters with playful moments.

Ohanian recently shared one such moment with his daughters, lifting them for ‘uppy’ until they asked him to stop. It was a promise he had made to them earlier, and he swiftly followed through, as seen in his recent post on X.

“I promised I’d “Uppy” them until they stopped asking for it …. Now up to a combined nearly 100lbs of cuteness 🥺 even on these hot days I’ll never take this for granted,” he wrote.

Ohanian is also a passionate sports enthusiast and a staunch advocate for women’s sports. He has translated that passion into business, investing in teams like TGL’s Los Angeles Golf Club and the NWSL’s (National Women’s Soccer League’s) Angel City FC. Furthermore, the Reddit co-founder made headlines in May by investing over $26 million in order to acquire a 10% stake in Chelsea FC Women.

Serena Williams Gave One Major Parenting Advice Concerning Social Media Recently

A few days ago, Ohanian weighed in on a user’s question about managing children’s social media use. The Reddit co-founder voiced his support for keeping kids off social media to protect them from peer pressure and the fear of missing out (FOMO).

“There is no one way to parent. But since you asked for how I’m doing it, the answer is very simple, no social media. I’m not surprised by seeing a lot of governments now moving to ban social media use for pre-teens and teens. If everyone agrees to not be on social media you don’t create that peer pressure, you don’t have that spectre of fomo. And I think our kids, especially our daughters, end up having much healthier relationships,” he said in a clip shared on X.
