Sebastian Korda has established himself as one of the top American tennis players. The 25-year-old is enjoying an impressive 2026 season and clinched his third ATP Tour title at the Delray Beach Open.
Korda hails from a family full of athletes, with his parents and sisters also competing at the professional level. Let’s take a closer look at the tennis star’s family as he continues his rise up the ATP Tour rankings.
Sebastian Korda’s Parents, Petr and Regina
Korda’s parents were both born in the Czech Republic before moving to the United States. They were both tennis players, with his father, Petr, a Grand Slam champion who won the 1998 Australian Open. He also finished as the runner-up at the 1992 French Open.
In total, Korda won 10 singles titles on the ATP Tour and reached a career-high ranking of 2 in 1998. He also won the men’s doubles title at the Australian Open in 1996, one of his 10 doubles titles.
His mother, Regina Rajchrtová, also played tennis during the late 1980s and 90s. She made the fourth round of the US Open twice, her best run at the Grand Slam level.
Sebastian Korda’s Sisters Nelly and Jessica
While Sebastian followed in his parents’ footsteps and became a tennis player, his sisters became champion professional golfers. Nelly Korda is a two-time Major winner and Olympic gold medalist in golf. She has won a total of 21 professional events and has spent more than 100 weeks as the World No. 1 in women’s golf.
Jessica Korda is also an accomplished golfer with six LPGA Tour titles. The 33-year-old also has top-10 finishes at all five Majors in women’s golf.
Injuries have forced the oldest Korda sibling to spend the last few years on the sidelines. But she is slowly making her way back towards professional golf at the age of 33.

Korda is engaged to Ivana Nedvěd, the daughter of the Czech Republic soccer legend Pavel Nedvěd. They started dating in 2021 and got engaged in November 2025.
Nedvěd frequently travels with Korda to ATP Tour events, and the tennis star has often credited her support as one of the reasons for his success.
“We started dating five years ago, and she’s just the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. And it couldn’t have been an easier choice than to ask her to marry me,” Korda told the ATP Tour.
Korda celebrated with his entire family after winning the title at the Delray Beach Open earlier this year. The Korda family hails from Bradenton, Florida, making the events held in the state even more special for them.
