Former tennis player Sam Querrey shared his thoughts on the frenzy surrounding the pair’s split, while also expressing hope that Fritz can regroup and move forward positively after the separation.

Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle’s relationship has been under scrutiny ever since breakup rumors began circulating earlier this month. Although Riddle previously laughed off speculation with a cheeky comment directed at the world No. 7, she has since appeared to confirm the split by donning a “World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend” T-shirt in an Instagram post.
The social media influencer also lent credence to reports that she was moving to New York by sharing a picture of her packed belongings and tagging her location as the Big Apple. She previously resided with Fritz in Los Angeles.
On a recent episode of the “Nothing Major” podcast, Sam Querrey poked fun at the online hysteria surrounding the duo’s split and compared it to the storm caused by Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s divorce. He also encouraged Fritz to rebound and find a “nice new girlfriend.”
“You opened the internet when that went down and they act like it was like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston breaking up. But yeah, six years together. It’s part of tennis. I see you guys aren’t gonna piggyback on what I’m saying. So, I’ll just keep going. Looks like she’s moved to New York. Hopefully Fritzy gets back in the game. Rebounds, you know, finds a nice new girlfriend. And best of luck to both of them,” Querrey said.

Meanwhile, John Isner expressed his belief that Fritz and Riddle had parted ways on amicable terms, a view that appears to be supported by the world No. 7 liking his ex-girlfriend’s Instagram post.
“It seems like it was an amicable breakup,” Isner said. “It seems like they’ve just gone their separate ways and they respect each other and they wish each other the best.”
On the tennis front, Taylor Fritz last competed at the Miami Open, where he lost to Jiří Lehečka in the fourth round. The American has chosen to delay the start of his clay-court season in order to focus on recovering from knee tendinitis. He has been making the most of his time away from tour by bonding with his son, Jordan.
