Reports Unveil Novak Djokovic’s Plans To Permanently Shift to Greece

Having visited the country multiple times, Djokovic deeply loves Greece. Speaking to Greek Tennis Times, the Serb has already mentioned that he “loves Greece, as does every Serbian citizen.” However, it seems like the strong affection for the place has finally prompted him to make a serious call.

According to the latest reports from Neos Kosmos, the Serb is planning to settle down in Athens with his wife Jelena and their two kids. Other reports from the Greek City Times mentioned that the 24-time Grand Slam champion shared the dinner table with the current Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The media platform further revealed that the meeting was to finalise their relocation plans, and the Prime Minister nodded to the call.

An Instagram post shared by Gazzetta.gr mentioned an expected timeline when the Serb will finally relocate to Athens.

“The idea of permanently moving to our country became more intense after the dinner he had with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who gave the “ok” to Djokovic. In fact, it seems that the Serb and his family will settle permanently after the US Open, i.e. next September,” the post caption said.

Amid their visit to the city, Djokovic was also seen exploring the Northern suburbs with his wife Jelena. According to the latest reports from Greek City Times, the Serb was exploring educational institutions for his son Stefan and daughter Taara. A video released on the social media platform X showcased the couple walking around as fans gathered to draw information about his visit to Athens.
